Keep us updated and i guess youre be hosting a dinner party for us on this thread lol. Ive been joking that the first one of us who moves gets to host a dinner party.

I've never seen an apartment glad its nice and clean. Do you know if you are allowed to make renovations? You should call and see where your applications stands my understanding is that veterens have priority before anyone else.
My friend who lives in the building had her place completely renovated. Her unit now looks like a luxury apartment.

Can I check my real list number? Because when I sent my money order with the form, my number is 2xx. I know somebody didn't comply or failed to comply on the date line, my list number should go up, right? How? Can I check at the office? Does anyone know the office hours? Thank you very much.

Thanks for posting. I know you have a long ways to go. Have you been putting your name on other lists ?

hello,

Does anyone know if a home visit is required? I'm not sure if Ill be able to give one at my current address? Would I have to file my taxes somewhere I could use as my residence for the purpose of the home visit?

Hi Mari,
Welcome to the thread!
can you share what list you're on? One or two bedroom etc. And approximate position.
I think that the hom visit is part of the process for these things. I know someone on another development who had to have one? There another person on this thread that might have the answer (Bronx Vet) they have been through most of the process.
Good luck on your wait

I think Bronx Vet (and I think someone else early in this thread) did say that there was a home visit. It may not need to be the same address as where you filed taxes (you could have moved...) but I do believe you will need to file taxes with a NY State address - you need to be a NY resident to be eligible.
