Thanks for the customary, don't start a conversation on my forum, google it response

I'm not looking for launch news, or NYC specific apps, I'm looking for people's experiences using the new iPhone 4 in NYC. Since the iPhone 4 was touted to have improved reception, and AT&T announced that they've finalized upgrades to their network in NYC, I wondered if anyone's experience was more positive.

I also don't give much weight to the commentators on tech blogs. Let's be honest, many of the people who comment on them are fanboys who knew the iPhone 4 would either be the second coming, or the worst phone Apple's ever released 3 months ago. I would like to see what people have to say on a non-tool centric forum/web-site.

Thanks for the response. Was this mainly in Manhattan? The Incredible is probably top of my list right now, unless the Samsung Fascinate comes out soon. I'm not a big fan of all these huge android phones that are the trend right now (e.g., EVO, Droid X).

The again I tested it in Queens and not the urban areas of the city, but that's still impressive though. I'm quite surprised.

However I know for a fact AT&T & T-Mobile aren't good in a lot of rural areas.
I semi-retract this post, the 3G was excellent in that one spot but was different in other spots (it even switched to Edge), but this is only my second day with it.

I never had a dropped call either. I actually came from an Android phone to the iPhone 4 lol. But it's preference, I think the iPhone is better than the Incredible (which is a great phone). I like the Evo too.
