Turn off the Sopranos and tune into REAL LIFE. Italians = generic white people. And white people are ****ing very homogenous. You might run into a higher concentration of guido's but other than that, who gives a ****?

YES, YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY BE KILLED. 110%.
You are a dumb, panicky, white suburbanite sheep. Just ****. Why dont you drive through a real ghetto , like compton Ca, or Detroit , before shooting your stoopid suburban mouth off? I really love how upstate local-yokels think thier 'bad' neighborhoods = south central L.A. There is no random carjackings/shooting in Utica. UH OH THE UPSCALE HOUSING DEVELOPEMENT IN A ROCHESTER SUBURB IS BEING PLAGUED WITH DRIVE-BY'S FROM GHETTO NEGROIDS FROM THE CITY .

If you arnt involved in the ****, then there is no problem.

My first day of being a student in Utica I drove through what (i learned later) was one of the worst areas in Utica (Oswego st, Oneida Sq., west utica etc). All I seen was Black people. And in america, apparently black neighborhood = fierce ghetto where you will be shot for sure. (cause this is a racist-ass country, contrary to popular belief)

Another stoopid suburbanite paranoid fantasy. OH NO, THERE IS CRIMINALS IN JAIL IN THE AREA - MEANING THAT THE CRIME LEVEL MUST BE WAY UP.

Stooooopid. They are in Prison you ****ing idiot.

thats why 5 people got killed this year already and its olny feb 4th?

No, that's not why. There was one botched robbery, a couple drug related, and a family dispute. You resurrected a three year old thread to post that? Did you notice that the post you quoted was from March of '07? There were 5 murders that whole YEAR. Apparently mouse's crystal ball wasn't working, because they didn't realize that three years later the city would have a bad first month of the year 2010. I bet there will not be another murder in Utica for 6 months. It's no more dangerous most other cities of 60,000.

I agree...Utica is not as bad as some would like to make people think it is.
