Look at Vestal, Maine-Endwell and Chenango Valley SD's. Districts like Johnson City, Union-Endicott, Chenango Forks, Susquehanna Valley, Whitney Point, Deposit and Harpursville aren't bad either. This might help as well: New York schools - NY elementary, middle and high school information

I really wouldnt reccomend any elementary school in Binghamton or Johnson City. I am friends with some substitutes teachers and have heard horror stories about them, Kids spitting at teachers, swearing, hitting and pinching not good stuff. U-E elementary schools are better but I wouldnt reccomend Charles F. Johnson, But would reccomend Thomas J. Watson and George F. Johnson elementary schools both in the U-E school district. M-E and Vestal districts are both the wealthier districts and Vestal has a really good rep. I'd also try Owego.
