Smile Reasonable Horse Properties

Hi I am considering a move to upstate NY in the near future, somewhere that is semi-rural & with reasonable prices. I am interested in either renting/purchasing a small farm. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Your best bet will be Sullivan county or Ulster county. Orange county is getting way to exspensive but has some really nice horse farms mostly standardbred farms and english show barns.

Default Saratoga County

You might look into the towns in Saratoga County: Schuylerville, Queensbury.

Agreed. We need more info on price range, purpose, and what you consider semi-rural. Do you want proximity to a specific city or will any do? How many horses do you want to keep?

I am thinking of operating a campground with trail riding opportunities so I will be keeping a few horses. The price range would be between $250k-$350K, give or take. I would like something rural, near a lake/state land if possible, but not an hour away from stores. Thinking I'm asking for a miracle here but if you can offer some advice, please feel free, thanks.
