Hi there!
Just a response to all the negative things you have heard about Binghamton. This area has a lot to offer families and singles alike. I am a transplant to the area myself. I love all the festivals, parks, great restaurants, and access to good healthcare! You will like it here!

I am in a similar situation as the OP. But I am single. I am right now staying a hotel until I find a decent place to find. To be honest with you, its kind of hard to find an apartment. My question is, if I live in PA, how would the tax work out? Would I have to pay income taxes to both NY and PA? And can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the sales taxes as well?
