Default Thinking of moving to Geneseo, NY

My family and I have been thinking about moving to Geneseo, NY. I was just wondering what it is like there. Is it safe? Is there a lot to do? I am single so it would be nice to move to a place where there were a lot of singles as well. Any information about Geneseo would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Its safe with the exception of rowdy college kids. Most things to do have to do with the college. You are near letchoworth park which is amazing. Since a college is near by , there are many singles.

Default Geneseo

I went to school in Geneseo and it is absolutely beautiful!!! I LOVE the old houses!!! When you look for houses you'd be better looking uptown nearer to route 20 A There are many many college kids living on court street and wadsworth. Living Eat of Main street I think would be best.

It is a nice village within driving distance of many great places. The best one is Letchworth State park. Rochester is not too far and there are tons of great things going in in Rochester! Buffalo is very close too!

geneseo is a great place for anyone. i would not live anywhere else.

there is about 10,000 people living in geneseo. there are many singles because of the college. there are many stores coming and that are here already. the public school is very nice also. you are very close to Rochester. there is not much crime at all and when there is it is mostly within the college.

PS: the first web site probably makes people think that geneseo is only a good place for singles and not families but believe me geneseo is still a great place for families.

PS the second web site says the high temperature in July is 50 degrees. that is false. the hottest it usually gets in July is usually 95 degrees. that is very hot for here.
