Looking To Maybe Move To Wellsville. Any Ideas? Are The Real Estate Taxes High? How Are The Schools ? Are They Good?

My family and I lived in Wellsville for 10 years. The taxes in the village are extremely high, some of the in WNY. That is why we moved. Property is fairly cheap though. The schools are decent.

Wellsville's taxes are the highest of any town in NY State, per my cousin who lives there, and a realtor we spoke with. My family is from the Wellsville / Friendship area, and we visit from So Cal every year. We'd love to go back to retire, but the taxes will kill you. It's the neatest little town, though.
