Default Hi ALL

We live in Miami, however I am from Millerton NY. Have lived here for 17 years. I am presently attending college to become a special education teacher. I want to GO HOME but my mom has since moved to Wellsville NY which is a cute town, though very poor.

My ? is this: What is the best area to really focus in on, I need good schools, reasonably priced home, local colleges / university, and CRIME..which here in Miami is disgusting.

Wellsville is a good place to live. Basically no crime, the schools are excellent (The Scio, Andover, and Bolivar schools are rated higher than the Wellsville school on various websites but you would have to research it yourself), Alfred University is within an easy 30 minute drive, there are state colleges as well right in Wellsville and Olean. Real estate is very reasonable, no lines at the golf course, plenty of shopping in town. It doesn't get too hot in the summer.
