Default Lake George with my doggy

We are going to Lake George Wednesday to poke around and enjoy some dog walking Yay! Do they allow dogs on the beach or many places to eat? Any suggestions for places to eat since we also have a hotel that we can leave our dog at

I'm not from Lake George altho I've visited there often.

This is "prime" Summertime vacation time at Lake George. Most always crowded or very busy. Please keep your doggy safe. Never in a closed vehicle in this weather=they could die from overheating in a matter of a few minutes. Also be sure to protect your doggy from being stolen by bad people who might have no regard for your dog or yourself. The time YOU spend in Lake George may be enjoyable for you but not so much for your DOGGY.

I'm only guessing but there will be very few places/businesses that will allow dogs inside their places. In town, dogs must always be on leashes. Restaurants are not allowed by State law to allow animals inside them, except for "help/assistant" dogs for handicap people. Not sure about the beach.

Enjoy your visit but please protect your dog or maybe have someone stay with your dog at your home while you're away.

Thanks! We already went and came back so I actually have a few things I learned. There is a actually a dog beach that is wonderful for dogs that our dog had an amazing time playing and wading in. There was even a dog refreshment place by the Minni haha that was manned by a wonderful sweet man We walked our dog along the street and were thrilled at all the peopled that enjoyed petting him and chatted with other dog owners and people. We stayed at the Lake George Inn that was pet friendly so when we went out to eat we left our doggy in the comfortable hotel so we knew he would be comfortable. We would never never leave him in a dangerous place or a hot car!!!!!! Great time as long as your animal is well behaved and proper accomadations are located.
