My elderly father wants to move to Brewster, New York
Hi,
My father is 92 but is very sharp, a retired Civil Engineer who went to college at Cooper Union in NYC, and still lives by himself, manages all his finances and food prep, etc (tends to prefer organic foods, non smoker occasion beer only). Except for arthritis and reduced vision and hearing( speak loudly to him) (usally uses a walker when outside of his apt, he has no illneses that require medications, etc.
He was born in NYC and lived in Putnam county and would like to return to this area (presently in Waterbury, CT)
He is looking for a room in someone's house where he could share expenses and companionship
could pay $500-800/mo.
Does anyone know of such a situation in or near Brewster, NY?
