I've been to Angelica before.. it is VERY sparse as far as people go. A lot of these tiny towns all over the southern tier are similar.

It really depends on what you do for a living and whether you like the terrain of the particular area I suppose.

Thanks for your reply. One of the attractions would be the State Parks that are so nearby. My concern would be basic living -- grocery store, etc. Do you know anything about the locals -- friendly to newcomers?
