How far out of the City are you looking to be and what type of dollar amount are you looking to spend in rent or on a purchase. I am up in Orange County and A LOT of people have been coming up here from the City over the last 5-7 years and are commuting back for work, so it's pretty much the norm here.
Let us know exactly what you are looking for and we'll see if we can direct you to an area that would be worth taking a drive to see.
