Info on Northern Columbia County
Specifically the Kinderhook area. My husband and I are considering a move to that area from Schoharie County. We are originally from southern Dutchess and would like to be closer to family without leaving the Capital Region. I've noticed that real estate prices are all over the board in that area for comparable properties, particularly acreage. What is the average price per acre, and are school taxes in the Ichabod Crane school district high compared to the average school district. I've been having a difficult time finding county by county comparisons for both school and property taxes.
