Any reason why there is no forum for Rockland County? Not enough posts for people to care? Or does it simply get lumped into NYC? Just wondering, it would make it a bit nicer to have more support for other counties.

probably not enough questions. After "What's the best school", "How are the taxes", "what's the commute like" there are very few inquires. Perhaps adding it to the Westchester board would be more appropriate....

The Westchester board could have Rockland and Putnam added to it since they share a lot of the same issues, namely a large population that commutes to NYC.

The Westchester County forum could be rebranded to cover the lower and maybe even the central Hudson Valley.

There should be a mid-hudson forum.

They could call it "Northern Suburbs" that way Orange/Dutchess/Putnam could also comment on it.

That's a great idea. It would be a very wise and healthy idea for these counties to all share a forum:

- Westchester County
- Rockland County
- Putnam County
- Orange County
- Dutchess County
- Sullivan County
- Ulster County

This forum would not be overcrowded at all. The Westchester County forum runs at a slow pace (only 11 threads participated in on 4/25/14), this new forum would about triple the activity. There are about 2.3 mil ppl in these counties combined which is almost the same population as the LI forum (2.8 mil), this forum would likely run at a pace similar to it, if you would like a real world example.
