Stewart Airport & Orange County
I recently read an article talking about how the Port Authority has purchased Stewart Airport and has allocated 500 million dollars to be spent on the airport, area and roads to make it one of the 4 major hubs in our area (JFK, Newark, etc..)
The article was very positive and stated that this development would help bring light industry to Orange County among other desirable things. To me, it sounds like a great thing. I'll be moving to Westtown soon and I travel often, definitly not looking foward to a 2 hour ride to Newark. I'm hopeful that a major airport and improved roads and business presence will help property values rise over the coming years.
What do you guys think? Anyone have some more info?
