Hey all. My brother and I are looking to buy some wooded acreage in upstate ny. We want to be able to build a small cabin, nothing fancy, just a place to get away from everything when we want. Future might be more than that but that is some time off. I am kind of looking for somewhere that is nice and quiet, don't need to be real close to much..30 min or more too small town for something if we need it, just not where we need to be bothered with noise and close neighbors. Not that I don't get along with people I just want to have a mental health place where the only thing I hear is the wind, birds, and maybe a river. Trying to keep drive to about 3 hours, give or take, from north/central nj. Maybe Delaware county, Otsego county? Any suggestions would be great!!
