Default Saratoga

I lived for over 4 months in a town south of saratoga called Malta. Saratoga I think is one of the best upstate cities. Very walkable, very safe, cute little stores and resturants. Anywhere in saratoga county is nice such as clifton park, ballston spa, etc. I would l0ve to move back up there again someday.

You definatley want to be in New Paltz! Very artistic town, you can live in town and walk anywhere. SUNY New Paltz is there so again you are dealing with a college town. But organtic food, and mountains everywhere it is one of the prettiest spots see mohonk.com for an example! Alot of people live there and come from NYC. If you need a rental or a house, let me know I will send you to people I know.

I went to college at New Paltz, so I agree it is a nice little town. However I found it a bit difficult to live there without some kind of store like walmart or taget where you can buy various necessary household items and clothes. So I'd still have to have a car to get to kingston or poughkeepise to shop. Otherwise I probably would have stayed there after I finished college.
