Default Vacationing in Lake George

My family of 4 plus a dog will be vacationing in Lake George over the summer. We know of 2 places that are great for dogs and cleaniness of motel. We are deciding between Lake Haven Motel and Lake George Inn (Balmoral Inn). Balmoral is AAA approved and has a game room Lake Haven is not for both. Lake Haven runs about $100 more a week than Balmoral also.

Any recommendations for which to choose to stay at?

thanks...

I'm not familiar with either of these places, but if you go to tripadvisor.com and search for them, I'll bet you'll find people that have written in with their opinions. Good luck....

BTW, Have you been there before?

Default Lake George Vacation

Yes, we have vacationed in Lake George before but stayed at a different motel the last time we visited at the Mohican Motel. They don't take dogs. So have to find clean, spacious accomodations at either of these places. One is triple A approved and the other is not. The one that is not is $100 more for the week than the one that AAA approved..

Thanks for answering...

..Lake George website or call the Chamber of Commerce, they both will mail you information on all motels/hotels/cabins, stuff to do, etc. I love Lake George - there is just something about that place.
