and again about middletown, read more topics about it...i've been here short but so far love it, dont know about schools but aside of that it is really cool...there are some shady areas like everywhere!!!!!...but here is a lot of new developments that are really awsome, everything is close and that is a big plus..
and ohnestly the schools, i feel that if a kid wants to study it will study in any school, and if they lazy they will be bad even in the best school,
my hubby went to the worst high school in the bronx, he is a collage gratuate and doing really good, never touched drugs even thought most of his friends did, it takes a lot from parents too to guide your kids in the right direction, don't always blame the school or uise it as a excuse because your kid isn't a genius;-).....anyways, search up the site for more subjects, come and see for your own eyes and make decision, ....good luck!

I don't know what schools these people are talking about..we switched our daughter out of Minisink into Middletown HS so she could get a better education..more diverse programs and teachers who actually care..

Default Trouble getting to middletown

Hi, I got a new job in Middletown but I haven't found a new apartment there. Im from New York City and Im having trouble getting there by public transportation. Shortline bus or metro north does not run when i need to get to work in the morning. Do anyone has any solutions like other transportation or if Middletown has cheap hotels where i can stay on a weekly basis?

You are pretty much out of luck if on mass transit options. They just don't exist. Talk to your new co-workers about rooms for rent. Those hotels are almost all fully booked. Your best bet is to try to find a cash strapped home owner quietly renting rooms on the side. Stay away from Park Circle and the Linden block.
