Default 55+ housing in Amsterdam NY?
Does anyone know of any 55+ communities in Amsterdam or Johnstown? Not a nursing home but a single level community for seniors?

I'm not from the area and I'm looking for an apartment for my husbands grandmother. Thank you!

It is very accuarate of you to say that you are looking for an "apartment", because that is exactly what assisted living places are.
