What are the most scenic spots in NY that you think non-locals should visit?

To make this more focused on what you would actually recommend, lets stick to particular spots (I.E. Watkins Glen or Whiteface Mountain) not vast regions (the finger lakes or Adirondack mountains.)

Mine, from West to East:

1) Niagara Falls/Niagara Gorge
2) Letchworth
3) Watkins Glen
4) Treman SP/Ithaca
5) Chimney Bluffs
6) Cooperstown
7) Lake Placid/Whiteface
8) Lake George, NY
9) Cold Spring
10) Montauk

Salmon River Falls in Oswego County is a nice, hidden area. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salmon_River_Falls
