While it is a little old(2016), a few Upstate cities/areas rank pretty high on this list with Rochester in the top 10: https://wallethub.com/edu/best-place...inesses/19254/

I'm surprised Albany isn't higher on that list. The city is overrun with feminists.

I wonder if Ithaca was included, how it would rank as well.

Are there a lot of female owned businesses in Ithaca? I don't know that area well enough to comment. It does certainly seem like a pocket of liberalness surrounded by a bunch of red areas lol. Beautiful area though.

I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were at all.

It is an interesting area, as it may be more purple, if not blue, depending on the town outside of the city.
