Haley Anderson's body was found last Friday afternoon in a house at 23 Oak St., Binghamton. A fellow nursing student, Orlando Tercero, was named as the probable killer. He has since fled to Nicaragua.

From another report, he may be a dual citizen and Nicaragua doesn't have an extradition agreement with the US. More on this: BU nursing student's suspected killer identified, police know where he fled

They bothered to find him and arrest him quickly, and don't appear to be doing it in a particularly friendly manner. I suspect they are going to have him "voluntarily" go back to the US.

That's so sad, I used to go to Binghamton University and would have never expected something like that to happen. I'm glad they caught the suspect at least.

I went to HS with a girl named Haley Anderson, so that was the first thing I checked when I saw this in the news. Thankfully not the same one, but still feel horrible for the poor girl and her family. Hope they catch the murderer.

Very sad and so far, it appears that it wasn’t random. This according to media reports.

Yeah I doubt it was random.

And this is crazy that two murders happened in such a short period of time, hopefully it doesn't happen again or at least not for a long time.
