As a TWC/Spectrum customer (since 2001) I want to know how seamless this is supposed to work. It's insane to think that they will find a viable carrier in (now) less than 2 months. Is the new provider going to just take over the existing technological infrastructure, or convert everything over to their own equipment?

I get why NYS is doing this, but the way in which they are doing this shows very little thought with regard to practical logistics.

My job uses Spectrum Business for phones and Internet - this could wreak havoc on our (and that of other businesses that also use them) ability to conduct business.

I understand your concern, My job is solely dependent on the internet. However, I am also immensely displeased with Spectrum, so to see anything being done (especially with particular regard to rural areas) about it is a welcome surprise.

Honestly I don't really care who takes my money. I've been innerwebz only for years so no TV.

But I do know for a fact if Albany is involved it will be painfull for all.
