It's not sad. They were held accountable for their treachery by their own constituents. How can that be sad? People power.

Jeff Klein was my rep so he is the only one I can speak of personally. I met him during the campaign under the subway. I was shocked. The creepiest politician I have ever met. His whole persona reeked of smarminess. I couldn't believe he survived in office so long. He was orange too.

What was so creepy about him? I did hear about allegations that he was inappropriate. Not sure if that made a difference.

He was orange, smug, insincere, never looked me in the eye, never smiled and had a handshake like a dead fish. And I could tell he didn't want to be there.

I don't know all of the areas he represents but he's been on the news non-stop about the Throggs Neck houses. I'm sure he covers more areas than the PJs.

How could you not know the areas he represents when he is your State Senator?

The district is Riverdale,Van Cortlandt Village,Bedford Park,Woodlawn,Pelham Parkway,Morris Park,Pelham Gardens, City Island,Throg's Neck,Pelham Bay and Co Op City in The Bronx and Pelham, part of New Rochelle and Bronxville in Westchester County.
The winner, Biaggi, lives in Pelham.
Klein's getting so involved in The Throgg's Neck Houses controversy was an act of desperation because he realized he was in trouble with an Italian woman challenging him. Historically, the key to getting elected in the district has been appearing in synagogues.

Here is a map of the district which was originally gerrymandered to insure that it would be a Jewish ...(or at least white) Senate seat
The lines of the district should be the poster child for gerrymandering!
