Default Oswego, NY- One of Top Three in NE for Sportsmen

Oswego, NY located on the shores of Lake Ontario forty minutes from the city of Syracuse was named one of the top three towns to call home in the North Eastern US for outdoor sportsmen.

The April '08 issue of Outdoor Life Magazine assessed a variety of quality of life factors including access to year around fishing and hunting. Oswego was the only town in New York State to place in the top 100. "Oswego County is abundant in natural resources", stated Mike Cali president of the Oswego County Sportsman's Federation.

The East and West Linear Parks were noted in providing fishing access directly in the middle of downtown to the second largest river tributary on the Great Lakes.

JECK06 is on a distinguished road
Default Finally get recognized for something good

Oswego is a wonderful place! It always seems as if the media want so exploit all the bad things of Oswego. Anyways it is a great place to visit and raise a family. If you are looking for a quaint town to visit for the weekend with your family try oswego. Bring your fishing gear and don't forget to visit Rudy's right on Lake Ontario.! Yum
