New to Fort Drum/Watertown Area (camping, activities, best)

I'm not exactly new, but just coming out of hibernation. My husband and I are outdoorsy kind of people, and would like find someone who shares the same interests. (Ex, fishing, camping, hiking, just going for a drive, etc.)

We're not into the bar scene as much anymore, though I find it nice to get out every once in a while. But because of that, it's hard for us (well, mainly me) to find people to hang out with.

I'd say you're talking about 98% of the population in the north country fits that description of favorite activities. The best thing to do is just go out and do them. You can easily make friends when camping, fishing, or hiking. The season should be starting up in another week.
