moveing to dutchess county (East Fishkill, Fishkill: home, school district, to live in)

Hi My husband and I are looking to relocate to an area in Dutchess county, I currently live in Queens NY and not in the best area. we are looking to for an enviornment that would be great to raise two small boys. one is 4 and the other in 1. I would also like to live around a very good school because my 4 yr old is considered to be a high funtioning Autistic. PDD. so I would be looking for a school district that would have the right classes for him. I'm not looking for the the crazyness of a city life I have that here, we like to see what it's like to live in a more relaxed area. any help will be greatly appreciated..

Wappingers falls is great. you got the newhamburgh station to go to the city. near BOCES witch will have classes for your child and small villige

Where will you or your husband be working? That will be a consideration. Hopewell Juction, East Fishkill and Poughquag are very nice. Good communities with welcoming people. You'll feel at home no matter what your background, etc.. .
