Default Live in Fishkill, work in Yonkers?

Hello,
I work in Yonkers, but would like to own a nice place of my own for a reasonable price. I saw some new townhouse development in Fishkill that is very nice, but I'm worried about my commute. Anyone have any experience/advice regarding that?

Also, what is the resale market like in Fishkill if I wanted to sell the home again in a few years (not for flipping per say, but if I got a new job or something).
Thanks!

Fishkill to Yonkers and Vice Versa is a long commute. I think it is over an hour long without traffic.

During rush hour you may run into traffic making the commute 1.5 hours or longer each way.

If you like driving and can withstand a little traffic then it is doable. But not something I would enjoy doing on a daily basis.
