This church is in Black River, just outside of FortDrum and east of Watertown: SWEET HAVEN HOLY CHURCH of GOD #3

As an aside, the are other religions and even those that may be viewed as "alternative" groups in some of the cities in Upstate NY as well.

Woody's Jerkwater Pub in Mattydale on Friday nights appears to be another place that would appeal to the same crowd.

Hopefully he can improve the Rochester City SD like he helped to improve the Ithaca City SD: Luvelle Brown Next Rochester Superintendent, According to Reports - Ithaca Times : News

Ithaca City SD has a 94% graduation rate according to I believe 2013-2014 NYSED School Report Card info. It was in the high 70's in terms of percentage before he got there.
