West Genesee is based in Camillus, a western suburb of Syracuse. Parts of the town of Onondaga and Geddes are also in the district. It has recently been an area some middle class black families have moved to. New Hartford, a relatively upscale suburb of Utica with very good schools and plenty of shopping(similar for Camillus) has also seen a little bit of that as well in recent years.
Liverpool is a SD that covers a portion of the northern suburbs of Syracuse in the western portion of the towns of Clay(minus the Gaskin Road/Kimbrook area in the Baldwinsville SD) and Salina(the village of Liverpool is surrounded by the latter town). Bayberry and the surrounding neighborhoods/the Candlelight Lane apartment/townhouse concentration in Clay and Galeville/Sunflower Park area of Salina have higher concentrations of black residents. It historically is a suburban SD that black families/people in the Syracuse area move to going back to the 1970’s, if not late 1960’s. That may be in part due to companies located in the district or nearby at one time/currently(GE(now Lockheed Martin), Budweiser in Baldwinsville, Raymour & Flanigan, Amazon, etc. and due to Hancock AFB when it was a regular air base until 1983. It’s Men’s Basketball program is one of the top programs Upstate, if not state in recent years. It has about 2500 students.
Henninger is the HS that primarily serves the eastern half of the North Side and Eastwood neighborhoods of Syracuse, but also gets kids from other sides of town(primarily nearby parts of the East Side and even some from just south of Downtown). As mentioned, it historically was probably one of the best urban HS Football programs Upstate until a few years ago. Basketball is still solid, but not to the level it once was when it had legitimate Division 1 talent that ended up playing Football or Basketball(even the NBA in the case of Andray Blatche, a former Wizards and Nets big man). It is the biggest HS in the Syracuse City SD with about 1800 students.

Both of those high schools are in the Binghamton area.
