Default Warwick, NY

Hi All, I have read many things about Warwick but everything is a bit outdated. Was just wondering if people still feel the same about the limited activities, the great schools and the long commutes. My realtor tells me the schools are not good. But I keep reading different (she lives in Goshen). I am in contract for a house in Warwick. I had one in Greenwood lake but opted for Warwick instead.

I have children 12/2.5/1. I'm wondering what all these commuters do when their kids are ready for school? You can't leave at 5 am when the kids have to be in school at 8am? Anyone know? I'll be living pretty close to the South Street Park. Anyone have any comments about the area. Is that the only park in town?

Hi, I know you are looking for updated info on Warwick..I just moved here about a month ago and so far I really love it! There is alot of stuff to do especially if you have children...there is Stanley Deming Park, Waywayanda state park, the village always seems to have something going on and the fire dept just had a carnival and fireworks and all. From what I researched before I moved here and from what I have seen and heard from just about everyone is that the schools are fantastic. The town is quaint and quiet true but that was what I wanted ...the people are fabulous and it is just an awesome place to raise a family. The sports teams her are fantastic ..they are really into the kids. All in all I think I made a great move!! Hope this helped a little bit!!

I would have to say that your Realtor may be slightly clueless. If you look at straight statistics...last time I checked Warwick is the best School District in the County. I would recommend going to greatschools.net and schoolmatters.com to do your research there. I'm sure that once you do the research yourself you will be very pleased with what you find.
