Relocating from nyc (Hillcrest, Rockland, Hope: section 8, apartments, for rent)

I want to relocate to rockland county from nyc i have section 8 and i want to find a nice house or apartment to rent a two bedroom. It's just myself, oh i'am a female and the place have to be nice just because i have section 8 don't mean i want to live in a nasty place. All my years living in nyc i lived in nice apartments no projects. Just need a change from the city i been visiting in springvalley i have a friend there and she has a home and i like it up there, so on that note i would be thankful for anyone's help. P.s. And on jobs also i love working with kids i run my own childcare in my apartment.

There are many apts here for rent Some landlord's do take section 8 and some do not
Best place to start is actually how much rent you can afford and then that will take you to what area's fit your budget Hope this helped

THANKS acip SEE THE THING IS I NEED TO FIND OUT HOW MUCH DO SECTION 8 IS WILLING TO PAY THEIR IN ROCKLAND CAUSE HERE IN THE CITY MY RENT IS $982.OO FOR A TWO BED ROOM BUT I BEEN IN THIS APARTMENT FOR 14 YEARS BUT HERE SECTION 8 PAYS UP TO I THINK $1,13.oo. I'AM LOOKING TO LIVE IN SPRINGVALLEY OR MAYBE HILLCREST IF I CAN RENT A HOUSE THAT WILL BE COOL TO AND IT'S JUST ME AND I'AM 48 YEARS OLD. I HOPE TO FIND WORK ALSO CAUSE LIKE I SAID RIGHT NOW I'AM SELF EMPLOYED BUT WHEN I RELOCATE I NEED TO WORK, WELL THANKS AGAIN FOR THE INFO.
