Default Commuting from Beacon to NYC

Hi all,

My b/f and I are planning on moving to Beacon in a few months. We'll both be commuting to NYC at different times in the morning. I know the Metro North station currently has a waiting list for parking permits but I also see there's a Park and Ride lot at Dutchess Stadium.

Does anyone have any information on whether this parking lot gets completely full in the mornings? My b/f will need to go to work a lot earlier than I will, so we're trying to figure out what our plan will be.

Thanks in advance!

I am about to do the same thing - moving to Beacon and commuting. My realtor said that it costs $25 a month for a spot at the station and that they recently opened up a lot of spaces and there are some available. How did you hear there was a waiting list? Was she just giving me a line?
