putnam or westchester, your thoughts?
I know little about either counties. I am curious. Considering a move perhaps in a few years. From CA. Husband originally from Upstate. Life in Bay Area was everything good and everything hard. Life now in Placer County is good but still very expensive if you like to live more than an arms reach from a suburban neighbor. Urban life is still desirable (I know what a contradiction but I can get out and walk...) If suburban, I need some space around us to play, garden, etc...I enjoy access to universities, culture and major sports nearby. We have young children. Husband in Tech Sales now, may change fields.
I look forward to people's honest experiences, observations and suggestions.
