Muggy, we could use the different perspective some of these folks provide. In any case, the cold weather will keep most of the dullards away.

everything is great but the black & white shots are outstanding! where did you snap the one of the diner? My mind literally travels to another place when I look at that.

i took the diner shot on state st. I believe, in Ithaca.
The alleyway was taken in Ithaca as well, during a late night insomniac photo shoot. I just found some random alleyway, really liked the lighting and contrasts, and snapped away, in a hurry because i didnt wanna be questioned by the cops being a guy in an alleway taking photos.

I know it's an overused word, but those pics are awesome CB. The b/w shot of the 2 apartment buildings on the narrow street, is that just off East Buffalo near the bottm of the hill? The first building looks like the one my buddy from elementary school lived in.
Thanks for sharing your pics with us.

lol ya off of buffalo near the bottom of the hill, but not quite where it levels out. i saw it driving around, and i really loved the lighting in that alleyway. wish i had a model to pose in it to give the shot a focal point, but still a cool shot nonetheless.

stunning work, CB. This thread (and the work contained within) shows everyone how beautiful upstate NY really is. Whenever I travel I-88 (Schenectady - Binghamton) I get reaffrimed that NY is truly the most beautiful and diverse state in the nation. We really have it all...from ocean to city to mountain to falls!
