i think the point is, that many people when they think of New York think of the city, and don't know that the vast majority of the state looks a lot like this.

Yes; this is very much the case. It would also however be nice for some people from downstate NY to see pictures of the cities and suburbs up here so they can see we aren't all "rural farmer hicks".

CBaillo... the first picture of the Treman bridge... holy crap, where were you standing when you took that one? you must have been right on the cliff? (or is that a different bridge?)

Love the 2nd picture, that is a famous view that everyone takes when they are there. For those who have never been to Treman, just beyond the bridge in the 2nd shot, is a GIGANTIC waterfall plunge:

the first pic is a different bridge...you come across it very near to the beginning of the trail from the upper parking lot in. Very easy to get to the bank, and i set up my camera there. the other one is just a different take on a shot millions before have shot already.

My next shoot I hope to do are spots in Ithaca and other surrounding "cities". SO maybe sometime soon you may get your city photos.

one finally from Ithaca itself. I'm hoping to go in town tomorrow and take more around the "city"
