return trip to farm outside Interlaken (Rochester, Ithaca: attorney, house, live)

This Thanksgiving family & I will be in Rochester. I'm planning a trip down to the farm I lived on as a child back in the 70's. It was located on County Road 143 between Interlaken & Lodi near W. Town Line Road.

At the time we owned 175 acres, but appears now to have a few different lots. I remember a gorge running through the 30 acre wooded section.

Although things have changed a bit since I was there, pretty sure we've identified the property on Microsoft's Live Search Maps. Anyone from around that area? Think the owners would mind if I knocked on the door and asked to take a look around? The house was on the map as far back as 1837.

Either way, I'm excited about revisiting my childhood home

I was there from 75-80 and was only a kid. I remember going to the bowling alley and to the Rongovian Embassy (or was it Inn?). A dive of a place that my parents dragged us to.

I was their as a kid growing up late 1940's -- 1970's Finger Lakes moved too Rochester 1971 then to FL 75.... heading half way back North.. TN ASAP...

Rongovian Embassy where was that located? Interlaken or Lodi ? I worked at the State Hospital at Willard several summers back in the 60's.

Trivia: Back in the mid to late 1950's ~early-mid 1960 Rod Serling of "Twilight Zone" had a Hand built French Chalet on Interlaken Beach ( Holton ) area. His brother was my fathers attorney in Seneca Falls....
