Boscov's in Binghamton...the executives from Boscov's have indicated to the leadership of the City of Binghamton, that the Binghamton store is not on their list for closure within the foreseeable future. It apparently is one of the higher producing stores in that chain. But, we all know how fast that can change.

Don't know how or why that store manages to stay open what with all the competition from the local malls and their big box department stores that are much more convieniently located to the community.

Should Boscov's close, it will definitely be a major blow to retail business in downtown Binghamton.
