When a listing states "Middletown" but is for a country home with acreage, is it possible that the listing is actually for an area such as Circleville, on Collabar, or out towards Slatehill? How do you search for Collabar?
Has anyone first hand experience with the Montessori School in Middletown or the elementary schools in the area? (beyond the ratings data)
We are trying to do as much research as we can before we our pre-visit (we are being relocated) so your help is truly appreciated.

It is entirely possible to have a "Middletown" listing and be outside the city. When I'm asked where I'm from, I always say Middletown, even though I'm actually from Waywayanda / Slate Hill. For your planning, if you see a nice house w/ acreage in "Middletown", I'd look at it. All the area you're looking at are a short (30min) drive from Middletown, so it's not really out of the way when you visit.
