What do people think are some of the nicest urban neighborhoods in NY State?
I would say one of them is Williamsburg Brooklyn.(North Side) It kind of reminds me of the East Village except not as expensive. It has picked up quite a bit the last 5 years.
Elmwood village in Buffalo
East End/Park ave in Rochester
Armory Square in Syracuse
Lark street area in Albany
