--Rouses Point-- (Altona: to rent, hotels, house)

I've got a question for ANYONE!!! I am relocating to Rouses Point, and at the same time trying to plan a wedding! I have never been to the Area, but my fiance is there now... so what I'm asking is if anyone knows of any venues in or around Rouses Point to have a wedding? I can't even seem to find any Hotels/Inns in the town! If you have ANY information, please let me know!!

have a reception (except at the Bowling Lanes or VFW) IN Rouses Point. There is Alburg Country Club in VT just across the lake a few minutes and there is also a very beautiful golf course that you might be able to rent depending on when you are looking. I don't have the addresses but if you google golf courses, there are a few that have awesome views and gorgeous rooms and that's what a lot of people have done up here........There was ab awesome place on the lake called the Anchorage restaurant that had very nice colonial New England style decor and great food but it burned last year and hasn't been rebuilt.......I think it will be because the Canadians have tons of boats moored in Rouses Pt Marina, but not yet............hope this helps.

that many people have events at now called the Rainbow Room which can be rented. However it isn't in Rouses Pt, but is about 10????? miles south. If you look at a map it is in a place called Altona, NY. They might have a webpage also........Good luck!

Try the North Hero House in North Hero, VT which is just south of Alburgh, VT. It's not too far away and it's really pretty.....
