Question any INFO on Torne Brook Farm, Ramapo, NY?

Does ANYONE know of any information on Torne Brook Farm?? I happened to accidently stumble across it this weekend and was fascinated by it. The main house was so charming and beautiful, I was immediately drawn to it. I ALSO noticed that the main house, as well as the smaller structure off to the side of the main house, were occupied by residents. CAN you rent here?? I googled it and didnt have much luck...any info would be GREATLY appreciated! Have a GREAT day everyone!

All that I can remember about Torne Brook Farm is that it was built by a branch of the Pierson family, some of whom had iron works in Ramapo in the mid 1800s. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is in private hands, though it has been opened for historic homes tours in the past.

Perhaps the Historical Society of Rockland might be able to offer more insight on the property.

Hi BergenCountyGirl,

I came across the following, and it does look correct from the standpoint as to where the farm is situated. If this is correct, the farm is currently apartments, and there is contact information on this page.

Hope this helps get you some more information.
