Closer to Manhattan off of Route17M. Warwick is further up. Both is a hike to get to NYC. I would say, Washingtonville, over an hour, Warwick, 1 1/2 to NYC.

Default Washingtonville schools vs. other Orange County schools

My kids go to Washingtonville Schools and I used to work there. I now work in another Orange county school district....and believe me, there are problems with a handful of teenagers in ALL schools EVERYwhere. Just like when you were a teenager. Having worked in the two different school districts, I have witnessed much and must say that I am VERY HAPPY with Washingtonville schools. I also LOVE the block scheduling that no other school in the County offers.
