I hate ice too. By the time you've gotten your driveway plowed the roads are generally passable. If it's still in the throws of a storm or a bad white-out businesses close, or don't expect those who can't get there and run with those who can, and people call in if they can't get out at all.

My own business was seasonal so if I didn't have to get out, I didn't. Glad I'm not working now. There are many people who commute to Syracuse, and some to Rochester. Now that's scary.

Yikes, we awaoke to an addional foot of snow on top of the 6 inches we got yesterday! Great fof the skiers, hub is bitching in his coffee already, dog is itching to get out and play! Is it April yet?
