Hey,

I am applying for a job with Americorps. I might be placed in the corning area. Being that I am from the city I never bothered to get a driver's license. I was just wondering if corning has public transportation? Oh and if you can tell me what it would be like there I would greatly appreciate it.

you will definitely want to get a license ASAP - you may be able to make it for a little while, but unless you get a friendly roomate or a car then things could get pretty drab fairly quickly

will also help you explore the surrounding area - which is beautiful
