Urrisgirl is on a distinguished road
I commute from Pearl River to midtown (3rd and 42nd) every day. The worst part of my commute is actually the walk from Penn to 3rd Avenue. There are two express trains a day- one in the morning and one in the evening. I am usually able to make the one in the evening and it is brilliant. From Seacacus-to Pearl River in 35-40 minutes!

I am hoping more express trains will be added in the future, but all in all its not that bad. Great time for catching up on reading or sleeping.
