moving to rockland county from nyc
I am looking to rent an apartment in Rockland County. I am looking for a town with good middle schools. I need an aparment near public transportation. I am a retired nyc school teacher (36 years) which has given me quite a bit of experience in how important it is that you choose the right system. I have an 11 year old grandson. We have looked in Maryland (Montomery County), and I am not quite sure how Rockland County schools compare to Maryland schools. I would prefer to be close to nyc but would go further. Also, I am not locked into Rockland County.
