Heathersmom, No haven't made it to Letchworth, heard it is beautiful. It os one of many upstate destinations we look forward to visiting, the list is endless and many I will revisit over and over. I always love to hear of others. Glen
Great posts from you NY-lovers! I was born and raised in Central Florida and have traveled to and lived across the US. I've been to many beautiful places but always loved the mossy trees and sandy beaches of my home state above all. However, I started to fall in love with NY when my husband (a NY native) brought me to the shores of Lake Ontario on vacation. It was a crisp, golden October and the sights were breathtaking. Pumpkin patches dotting the landscape on the side of the road, towering barns overlooking family farms, apple cider and cinnamon sticks offered at every stop....I could go on and on. Needless to say we moved to the Niagara Frontier shortly thereafter and I can't imagine being anywhere else!
